Speech Development in Children with Hearing Loss

With early identification and management of hearing loss combined with Listening and Spoken Language specialized Speech-Language Therapy, children who use cochlear implants and/or hearing aids can learn to speak clearly and be understood.

Join us to learn about what to expect at each age and stage. You will learn how listening skills and auditory access are essential for the development of clear speech. We will share several strategies to help you to support your child’s speaking skills at home.
